Other tourist attractions in Venice include St Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), the Bell Tower (Campanile di San Marco) and the Clock Tower (Torre dell’ Orologio). The Peggy Guggenheim Collection has one of the best collections of modern art in Italy, with works by Picasso, Pollock and Dali.

There are plenty of islands in the lagoon that you can explore, including Burano and Torcello and Murano, which is famous for its glass blowers across the world.
